Overview
Michael P. Boiczyk joined the firm in 2024 after many years of practice as a partner at Weber, Carrier, Boiczyk & Chace, LLP, in New Britain, Connecticut. He maintains a comprehensive transactional practice, focusing on commercial real estate law and general business transactions. Michael has vast experience handling real estate leasing, real estate sales and acquisitions, as well as business sales and acquisitions.
Michael represents landlords and tenants in connection with office, commercial, retail, and industrial leases throughout Connecticut drafting and negotiating commercial leases and subleases, and all ancillary documents. He has been involved in hundreds of lease transactions.
Michael also has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing a wide variety of business transactions, as well as all types of real estate transactions, from simple residential closings to complex commercial matters. He assists clients with the sale and purchase of businesses, both asset-based and stock/ownership-based, as well as commercial real estate. He drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, and all closing documents.

- Represented purchaser in a $25 million membership interest purchase of a manufacturing facility and related real estate.
- Represented seller in a $12 million asset sale of a manufacturing facility and related real estate to an international company.
- Represented landlord in the negotiation of a ground lease, including multiple cross-easements and other land use restrictions, for a national pharmacy.
- Represented seller in a multi-million-dollar sale of a self-storage facility to a national purchaser.
- Represented seller in the sale of an entire residential subdivision to Toll Brothers, a national builder.
- Represented local hospital, as tenant, in a long-term, multi-million-dollar lease and build-out, for a new cancer center building.
